Happy Saturday!!! How are you doing Keto Family???!!! It’s our first weigh day for this month! How did the first 10 days of this challenge of Eating Clean, Keto, Intermittent Fasting, Self-Care and Exercise go for you? Let me know what scale and/or non-scale victories you’ve experienced so far this month! For me I’ve lost 1 pound and I’m grateful for that because being home during this temporary pandemic has it’s challenges that can impede progress if you allow it. I’ve continued to step up my cardio/resistance training and I’m still losing inches as a result of that and my keto diet. What about you???

Here are some home circuit workouts that you can explore if you need some new workout ideas. If you haven’t had much progress on the scale or if you have gained weight during this season of social distancing try your best to eliminate snacking in between meals for the rest of the month, refrain from eating sweets and be consistent with eating a low carb diet. Happy Saturday Keto FAM!!! It’s weigh day #2 for this month’s challenge! Let me know what scale and/or non-scale victories you’ve experienced so far this month! I’ve lost an additional 1 pound!!! I’m really grateful for that because it could have gone a different way with me homeschooling and with this practicing social distancing situation we are in right now because of the coronavirus pandemic!!! I’m still losing inches as a result of the cardio and resistance training I’m doing as well as my Keto/IF diet. What about YOU??? Happy Hump Day! It’s weigh day! Let me know what scale and/or non-scale victories you’ve experienced so far this month! For me I’ve lost the weight that I gained on the cruise I went on last month and lost 2 extra pounds on top of that! I’ve stepped up my resistance training and I’m definitely losing inches as a result of that and my keto diet. What about you???

The Power of Intermittent Fasting!

Happy Saturday Everyone!!! For the next 3 days leading up to the start of our January 2, 2018 #30DayChallenge launch I’m going to be posting some videos and other resources on intermittent fasting to educate you on its benefits and how it actually works. This one is only 4 minutes long so check it out it can literally change your total health picture. I personally intermittent fast daily and have an 8 hour eating window generally from 12-8pm. Utilizing IF and eating a #ketogenic diet is what has helped me to get out of the pre-diabetic range and to lose 35 pounds in 2017. Of course always consult with your doctor before starting this or any other diet or exercise plan. I am not a dietitian or nutritionist I am just sharing what has worked for me.


My doctors have been amazed at my progress especially when they look at my family history of which includes high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol. Before I took charge of my health I was well on my way to developing those health conditions but through these diet and exercise changes (mainly diet) all of these have been reversed and all of my health numbers are normal. Am I done yet NOPE! I still have a ways to go but I’m grateful that I’m going in the right direction. I will meet my ultimate goal in 2018. #NoDoubt

Here is a video by Dr. Jason Fung who is an expert on Fasting, Diabetes and Kidney Health. He has 2 books that I highly recommend you getting on Audible (an audiobook) or at Amazon entitled “The Obesity Code” and “The Complete Guide To Fasting”. It literally has changed my HEALTH LIFE!

Today I want you to think about what your goal is for this week. My goal for this week is to lose at least 2 pounds and to work out 6 days this week for at least 1 hour per day. I will sleep 7-8 hours and eat clean, sugar free all week long with NO exceptions! What about you??? I want to hear from you! Let’s make this week great & healthy!!! You CAN do it!!!
