Happy #HumpDay! How is my Eating Clean, Keto/IF & Exercise Family doing today? I hope all is well. We are almost at the end of our January 2020 challenge. Is it just me or did this month go by super fast? Well on Friday, 1/31/20 we will have our final weigh in for the month and this challenge will officially be in the books!

So tell me what’s up? Is your motivation, exercise, eating clean and Keto diet consistency up? I want to hear from you so I can get an update on your journey. Consistency is the key on this journey. Don’t let anyone or anything keep you from doing what it takes to meet your goals. You are MORE than worth it! πŸ’― Remember you are not alone in this fight to be healthy. What Is That ONE Thing You Will Do To #Finish2019Healthy??? #Let’s Go!!! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Happy #HumpDay!!! It’s day 18 of our #Finish2019Healthy Challenge! How are things going? We are almost 2/3rds through this month already! I can’t believe it will be Christmas a week from today! I don’t know about you but that is motivating me to take it up a notch! We literally have 13 more days left in this month, year and decade!!! What are you going to do to take it up a notch? Here are some possible options to consider:

1) Get at least 30 mins to an hour of activity in daily
2) Sleep 7-9 hoursΒ daily
3) Eat Clean for the rest of the month (no processed packaged foods)
4) Challenge yourself to a group exercise class like Zumba, HIIT, Strength Training or Cycling.
5) Eliminate starchy carbs or sugary foods until Christmas!
6) Intermittent Fast for at least 16 hours per day with an 8 hour eating window.

Even if you just pick ONE thing from the ideas above OWN it and feel PROUD knowing that you did SOMETHING to push the needle towards ending the year on a healthy note!

My goal for this month’s challenge is to help motivate you not to wait until the New Year to get started on your goals. There’s nothing like the power of TODAY!!!

Who Is Your Accountability Partner And Why Is This Critical To Your Success?!

Happy Thursday!!! It’s day 5 of our monthly Keto and exercise challenge. How are things going? In my last post I shared about the importance of setting goals for the month in case you missed it here is a link to that blog post: https://wp.me/p2EoD3-uI

However today I would like to stress to you the importance of having an accountability partner and/or support team that can help you to stay on track. #1 you must first be accountable to yourself and God. However, sometimes we need some additional support on our health journey. At least one support person needs to actually be a workout partner if at all possible. Having an accountability partner will help keep you accountable to someone regarding your exercise and diet. I have 3 key people who hold me accountable to my keto diet and/or exercise. One of which is my husband of 16 years. Half the battle is getting your family on board with your healthy diet changes. If you haven’t already consider having a talk with your family and/or significant others and inform them of the journey you are on so they can help support you. This will help reduce and/or eliminate unhealthy food temptation at home if you are both on the same page.

What about you? I challenge you to find someone ASAP to be accountable to. This is one of the reasons that I began this challenge/blog to provide support & motivation to you on your journey to a healthier you! Support, Motivation & Accountability is EVERYTHING! It has worked and is continuing to work for me & I know it will work for you! Other sources of support can include but is not limited to your local gym, YMCA, YWCA, Functional, Integrative and/or Holistic Doctors, a Personal Trainer, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Counselor, Health Coach, Nutritionist, MyFitnessPal community, Fitbit Watch online community or the other smart watch exercise communities that Apple and Samsung have. Find your accountability partner/ support group today and finish this month’s challenge HEALTHY!

Finish February 2019 #Keto Strong!!!

Happy Saturday!!! It’s officially the weekend and it’s the last week of our February Keto and IF challenge!!! How did week 3 go for you? Let me know how it went! Well lets plan to finish the last week of this Keto and IF challenge strong so we can meet our February goals!!!

This may provide you with some tips to keep you from rebounding weight in the future. Afterall we are all in it for a lifetime of healthy eating, active living, consistent exercise, less stress and adequate sleep so we can have lasting results that are no longer temporary! TGIF! We Are Halfway There!!! #LetsGo — February 15, 2019

TGIF! We Are Halfway There!!! #LetsGo

#TGIF!!! Today is day 15 of our February #Keto 30 Day Challenge and it’s time for our mid-month weigh in! We are officially 15 days in and we have 15 more days to go! Let me know how the 1st 2 weeks have gone for you!!! What successes and challenges have you had so far? What do you think you will need to do differently in order to maximize your goal achievement for this month? Here are some ideas that you can implement.

  • Consistent exercise/steps daily
  • Drink sufficient water (try it with 1 tsp of lemon juice and/or apple cider vinegar w/the mother)
  • Cut out sugar
  • Eliminate high carb food
  • Eliminate snacking
  • Get more sleep
  • Reduce stress
  • Believe & confess with your mouth that you CAN do it!!!
  • Get a partner who will hold you accountable!
  • Try intermittent fasting (daily 8 hour eating window of 12-8pm, 10-6pm or whatever works with your schedule)
  • Stick to Keto & IF!!!
