Happy Monday & welcome to a new week! This week is the last week of this April 30 day challenge! How are things going so far? I pray its going well and you are staying focused on your action plan and ultimately your goals that you have set for the month. Have you been able to stay on track? If not what has been your stumbling block(s)? What are the steps that you take to get back on track? I find that stepping on the scale will help motivate me to get back on track and keep going. I also remind myself about the reasons I started on this weight loss journey. Going to the doctor for a yearly physical is also a great motivation especially once you get your lab results! Looking in the mirror and seeing how you fit and look in your clothes is another motivator for me.
One of the biggest motivators for me is having an accountability partner to check in with. This is someone who will consistently check on you to see how you are doing! This person is not a yes man but someone who will call you out if you are getting off track. They will also motivate you to get back on track. Those that truly care about you and are fully vested in seeing you meet the goals that you have set for yourself.
Do you have someone keeping you accountable? If not get you one TODAY! This person can be a family member, friend, coworker, church member etc…Having this support person/team has truly been a key component to my success on this weight loss journey.
