Happy Saturday Everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start! It is Day 13 of our 30 Day Challenge & I just want to take the time to applaud all of you who have made the decision to take this eating clean and exercise challenge with me. I know from experience that it truly is a challenge to break away from eating sugar, white starches and processed foods but I promise you it is well worth the effort and the commitment. Even if you find that you don’t lose a lot of weight on this challenge, the fact that you have changed your eating habits will do your body and health a lot of good in the long run.
I’m a believer that the consumption of processed foods & the lack of exercise is what has caused the obesity epidemic across the globe. There are other varying factors that have brought us to this point including busy lifestyles, misplaced priorities, extended work hours, emotional eating, video games, smartphone/tablet & other mobile technology, environmental factors, the list goes on & on… But we are not falling for the okie doke or this mode of operation any longer!!! We are taking our lives, our time & our diets back!!!
Check out this short YouTube video link below on why we should stay away from processed foods. Let it motivate you to continue on this path to eating clean! Also try your best to stay away from the ingredients listed on this picture. I will share more in depth on the effects of consuming these additives during our challenge. We cannot put our stomachs/health in the hands of the government or the FDA and expect them to take care of us and our best interests. We have to put our trust in God and go back to eating what He created for us to eat from the EARTH not what was created in a LAB! We have to be more intentional about the way we live life and what we consume to ensure we become better stewards of the bodies God has given to us! Are you with me?
