What May Be Hindering Your Weight Loss?

Happy Monday Motivation Day! We have reached the midpoint of our April 30 Day Challenge!!! Weigh in tomorrow to see what progress you are making. I would love to hear how the Keto and Intermittent Fasting is working out for you! There are times when you have to make adjustments to what you are doing especially if you have reached a plateau or if you have some serious insulin resistance that is trying to hold on to your fat reserves. Check out this video from Dr. Eric Berg. He gives some great tips that will help you to overcome any weight loss plateaus you may be experiencing. There are 5 things I know will help you to get over your weight loss plateau:

1) Reducing carbs – Eliminating sugar, potatoes, bread, and pasta, reducing fruit intake especially high glycemic index ones like pineapples and mangos.

2) Consistent Exercise

3) Getting adequate sleep – 7-8 hrs daily

4) Stress Reduction

5) Intermittent Fasting – Eating Window of 8 hours or less. Most people stay within the 10-6pm timeframe or 12-8pm.
