January 2024 Choosing Healthy Self-care Challenge Starts Today!!!

Happy New Year 2024!!! Are you ready to start 2024 off healthy? Join me on this month’s Choosing Healthy self-care challenge! The goal for this month’s ONE healthy habit self-care challenge is to identify at least ONE self-care area that you want to focus on by developing sustainable healthy habits and being consistent with it such as getting at least 30 minutes of exercise/activity in at least 3x weekly, eating healthy whole foods, getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep in daily, reducing or eliminating high carb and/or high sugar processed foods and/or by eliminating or reducing snacking in between meals.

There are other self-care practices that you could start doing like journaling, going to counseling to work through any stress, trauma, anxiety or depression that you may be experiencing, walks in nature, writing poetry, creating songs, drawing pictures and painting 🖼. There’s so much you can do for self-care and what I’ve listed is not even scratching the surface. I’ll share more self-care ideas as we take this self-care journey together!

So what will your ONE healthy self-care habit focus be for this month? If you are more experienced at choosing healthy, feel free to focus on more than ONE thing this month. However, if you are finding it difficult to get started with making healthy choices, focusing on at least ONE thing could be the catalyst to help get you started on a healthier path.
