Get Up & Move! (Day 5)

You heard me get up & move! Believe me I say it in the most loving tone imaginable! But seriously the days of magic weight loss pills are over, you’ve got to do the work. You’ve got to get up & move! You’ve got to get your sweat on & make that fat cry. I know some of you may be saying I don’t have time for exercise or you may be asking how do I even get started? Well I’m glad you asked! If you are just getting started start off with working out for 20 minutes on a treadmill, a walk around the neighborhood or at a nearby school track or park. After you have mastered that take it up to 30 mins, then 45 & so on. Try to exercise at least 3-5 times per week with at least 2-3 days of strength training. Make it more engaging by getting your family or friends to exercise with you. Adding that layer of accountability helps to motivate you to do it again the next day.

I also totally recommend a gym membership or a personal trainer to help take your workout to the next level and to help target specific areas you need to work on. I’m thankful for my personal trainer MJ(Michelle) with http://www.maxxout.biz She has definitely helped me to take my workout to the next level! If you can’t afford a personal trainer or a gym membership it’s all good but that is not an excuse not to move. These days there are a plethora of exercise routines on YouTube that can get you started in your own home. I highly recommend the Get Fit Guy for exercise tips http://www.getfitguy.com/ & be sure to track your exercise activity in the MyFitnessPal app or online at http://www.myfitnesspal.com. If you are on the Weight Watchers program of course use your Weight Watchers mobile tracking app! Lastly please do not eat your calories burned through exercise. If you burn 500 calories per day for a week you should lose about 1-2 pounds on a weekly basis. I hope this will motivate you to get up & move today, it will help take your weight loss & your heart health up a notch! Let’s Go! #30DayChallenge

  1. What do you know about Rice Bran Oil?
I adore the way it cooks and how I’m able to bake with it. And on account of
it higher smoke level I can even deep or stir fry
with it. It also is extremely high in antioxidents.
