Happy Social Work Month to all of my fellow Social Workers. Thank you so much for the work you do in all sectors of society in the United States and around the globe! 🌎 In line with this year’s NASW social work month theme now is the #RightTimeforSocialWork. In fact, its always been the right time for social work. The need for Social Workers became even more apparent during the pandemic and will continue to be needed well after the pandemic is over.
Since the first social work class was offered in 1898 at Columbia University, social workers have led the way developing private and charitable organizations to serve people in need. Social workers continue to address the needs of society and bring our nation’s social problems to the public’s attention.
