Leveraging Fitness Trackers To Achieve Your Fitness Goals!!! 🔥🔥🔥

What is your exercise goal for this week? The American Heart Association recommends between 150-300 minutes per week of aerobic exercise, this equates to 30 minutes to 1 hour per day during the 5 day workweek. (https://www.heart.org/en/healthy-living/fitness/fitness-basics/aha-recs-for-physical-activity-in-adults)

The American Heart Association also recommends doing strength training at least 2 days weekly. (https://www.heart.org/en/healthy-living/fitness/fitness-basics/strength-and-resistance-training-exercise) Are you currently getting this amount of exercise in weekly? If not NOW is a GREAT time to start with the fall season now upon us!

My Fitbit stats for Sunday 9/20/20

How can you be sure you are getting at least the recommended exercise in daily? I highly recommend the use of a fitness tracker watch like Fitbit, Samsung, or an Apple watch. I personally have been using the Fitbit brand since 2013 and I have no complaints to date. In addition you can also engage in exercise challenges with your friends and family. I particularly love the fact that I can buy a fairly inexpensive Fitbit watch for my children and we in turn can compete daily/weekly to see who can get the most steps. This makes exercising a lot more enjoyable because it helps to build community, friendly competition and it has built in accountability.
