Is Your Health Vision Clear for 2020? Let’s Visioneer Together!!! #LetsGo πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

My 2020 Health Vision Board

Happy New Years Eve! We are now at the end of the final Keto/IF & Exercise challenge of 2019!!! Thanks for rocking it out with me this year and I hope you will continue what we’ve started in the #Finish2019Healthy challenge into New Year 2020!!! In preparation for our January 2020 challenge I want to encourage you to take some time today to look forward and write your vision for 2020. What is the end result that you want to accomplish by the end of 2020? Get a piece of paper or poster board and write it out. Include the following on your 2020 Health Vision Board:

1) Your 2020 Health Goals – For example lose 25 pounds in 2020 or to exercise on a regular basis.

2) Your 2020 Action Plan to reach those goals – For example eat Keto & Intermittent fast daily and Exercise 3-5 times a week for at least 30-60 minutes per session

3) Your Why – What is the reason behind the goals you’ve set? Is it disease prevention or reversal? Is it for longevity? Do you want to reduce high blood pressure or get into a normal A1C range or maybe its to get into a healthy Body Mass Index range.

4) Quotes or words that motivate or inspire you. For example my motivational quote is from the Bible: “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me” – Phillipians 4:13

5) Feel free to add some pictures, stickers or artistic elements to it that will make it all your own.

I took the time out today to pray and write out my goals for 2020 (see pictured above), my action plan that would help me to achieve my goals, my why and I also included a scripture that inspires me! I’ve posted it in my bathroom to serve as a reminder daily to keep pushing towards my 2020 goals. Are you ready??? Let’s start 2020 with our eyes wide open and our vision clear so we can hit the ground running towards our goals!!! Are you with me? If yes go to http://www.monicaakerele.com for the January 2020 monthly Keto/IF and Exercise challenge details!

What Progress Are You Making This Month? Let’s finish 2019 #HEALTHY!!! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Happy Saturday!!! It is day 21 of our Keto and Exercise Challenge for this month and it’s also our official 2nd weigh in day for this month!!! We are weighing in every 10 days to check on our progress. Take a moment to weigh in either today or tomorrow morning and let me know what progress you have made so far this month. I’m grateful to report that I’ve already lost a total of 14 pounds so far this month!!!

I’ve lost 14 pounds by implementing both the ketogenic way of eating and the intermittent fasting pattern of eating within a 4 hour window. I also included a couple extending fasting days to help me break through a plateau that I was experiencing. I have consistently exercised for at least 30-60 minutes a day. I also made sure to include at least 2 days of strength training per week. Here is a link for Authority Nutrition to learn more about intermittent fasting that is based on evidence found in research studies: https://authoritynutrition.com/intermittent-fasting-and-weight-loss/. For those of  you who are more audible and visual learners here is a quick 10-minute video from Dr. Eric Berg who is one of my favorite doctors who champions intermittent fasting: https://youtu.be/AnyFVWwzgJI.

Well!!! Let’s ZERO in these last 10 days so we can achieve our end of year goal. Respond to this post or send me a personal message letting me know how things are progressing for you this month. You CAN do it!!!! Let’s finish 2019 HEALTHY!!!

What Is That ONE Thing You Will Do To #Finish2019Healthy??? #Let’s Go!!! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ — December 18, 2019

What Is That ONE Thing You Will Do To #Finish2019Healthy??? #Let’s Go!!! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Happy #HumpDay!!! It’s day 18 of our #Finish2019Healthy Challenge! How are things going? We are almost 2/3rds through this month already! I can’t believe it will be Christmas a week from today! I don’t know about you but that is motivating me to take it up a notch! We literally have 13 more days left in this month, year and decade!!! What are you going to do to take it up a notch? Here are some possible options to consider:

1) Get at least 30 mins to an hour of activity in daily
2) Sleep 7-9 hoursΒ daily
3) Eat Clean for the rest of the month (no processed packaged foods)
4) Challenge yourself to a group exercise class like Zumba, HIIT, Strength Training or Cycling.
5) Eliminate starchy carbs or sugary foods until Christmas!
6) Intermittent Fast for at least 16 hours per day with an 8 hour eating window.

Even if you just pick ONE thing from the ideas above OWN it and feel PROUD knowing that you did SOMETHING to push the needle towards ending the year on a healthy note!

My goal for this month’s challenge is to help motivate you not to wait until the New Year to get started on your goals. There’s nothing like the power of TODAY!!!

What is that ONE thing you will do to end this year HEALTHY? Let me know in the comment section below!!!
